Stay strong

Just like the name suggests, the Stay Strong class is focussed on strength and resistance but is specifically for those at risk of osteoporosis, menopause, arthritis, or diabetes.

Participation is at your own pace

Stay Strong is a small-group strength and resistance training class designed for people living with, or at risk of, osteoporosis, as well as those navigating menopause, arthritis, or diabetes. The program supports both men and women, recognising that bone and muscle health are essential at every stage of life.

Led by an accredited exercise physiologist, each session is carefully structured to:

    • Build strength, stability, and bone health
    • Improve balance and mobility
    • Reduce the risk of falls and fractures
    • Support confidence and independence in daily life

The class can be modified to suit different levels of fitness and capability, ensuring everyone can participate safely and progress at their own pace. Whether you are returning to exercise, newly diagnosed, or looking for a friendly alternative to a busy gym, Stay Strong provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can work towards protecting bone health and feeling stronger.

🗓 Day and time: Tuesdays | 10:00AM – 11:00AM
👥 Fitness level: All fitness levels welcome
💲Session fee: $15 per class or redeem with a pre-paid five or 10 class pass ($70 / $135)
📋 Referral: Not required (an Exercise Physiologist pre-assessment is required prior to participating)
🏥 Rebates: Medicare, DVA, and private health may be available
