Give your support to a lasting legacy
Nearly 20 years ago, a simple vision was born: to provide people facing cancer in the Cairns region with compassionate, person-centred care close to home. From the start, COUCH Cancer Hub NQ has been built by the community, for the community. Today, it is a trusted, locally owned not-for-profit where people impacted by cancer feel seen, supported, and understood.
The cancer hub continues this work without government funding. All our services rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and corporate partners who believe in caring for their local community.
Funds raised are vital for sustaining and expanding our evidence-based services. These include specialised cancer nursing, tailored exercise, prehab and rehabilitation programs, and emotional, social, and well-being support for people impacted by cancer, including carers and family members. Every dollar stays in Cairns, directly supporting locals during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
Every contribution makes a difference. Individuals can donate at any level, knowing their gift provides real, tangible support. Community generosity is the heart of COUCH, ensuring no one has to face cancer alone.
Corporate support strengthens the long-term sustainability of the cancer hub. By partnering with us, businesses create lasting local impact by supporting people facing cancer, their families, carers, and the wider Far North Queensland community.
