Improve muscle strength and manage pain
Pilates at COUCH Cancer Hub NQ provides a safe, supportive way to build strength, improve posture, and increase flexibility. It also eases pain and enhances your range of movement.
Our instructor has specialised experience working with people living with cancer. They understand the unique challenges treatment brings. Therefore, exercises can be easily modified for all levels and adapted to individual needs.
Benefits of Pilates
Pilates focuses on core strength, muscle balance, and postural alignment. Movements are performed on a mat, sitting or lying down, using controlled motion and breath to support the body safely.
Moreover, for people navigating cancer treatment, Pilates acts as gentle rehabilitation. It helps maintain strength, supports recovery, and promotes overall wellbeing.
Whether you are in active treatment, post-treatment, or in long-term recovery, Pilates provides a tailored approach. It encourages safe movement, strengthens muscles, and restores confidence.
