Yoga

The perfect blend

One of the world’s oldest practices, Yoga appeals to clients for not only its many recognised physical benefits, but simply because it feels good.

Classes are gentle and restorative

Yoga at the cancer hub provides gentle and restorative support for relaxation, recovery, and overall wellbeing. This practice combines soft movements, breathing exercises, and guided relaxation to calm the mind and restore balance. Whether newly diagnosed, in treatment, or living beyond cancer, yoga offers a safe way to care for both body and mind.

Many people living with cancer find yoga deeply comforting. They feel lighter, more at ease, and mentally clearer after class. Yoga eases tension, reduces stress, and brings moments of peace during challenging times. It also encourages self-kindness and awareness, helping participants connect with their body in a gentle and supportive environment.

Yoga is one of the world’s oldest practices, with roots in India more than 5000 years ago. Today, it is valued worldwide for its many benefits, especially for people navigating cancer care. Research and personal experience show yoga can improve flexibility, strength, energy, and sleep. It also supports emotional wellbeing and reduces anxiety.
