With a contribution of $2,700 per year — the average cost of cancer care support per client, per year — Champions directly fund the services that help Far North Queenslanders navigate cancer with dignity, coordination, and hope. Every dollar remains in the region. Funds contribute to the continued growth and development of cancer care support services and social wellbeing programs delivered through COUCH Cancer Hub NQ. This includes access to a fully bulk-billing GP, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, cancer care nurse support, and evidence-based wellbeing programs such as yoga, meditation, breath and qi, and creative workshops. Together, these services enhance quality of life, strengthen resilience, and ensure care extends beyond treatment alone.
