I'm concerned I might have cancer

A proactive approach

It’s important to seek advice as soon as possible if you’re concerned about symptoms. A proactive approach helps reduce stress and prepares you well for treatment.

Help at every step of the way

If you’re worried you might have cancer, the best first step is to book an appointment with your GP or our GP at COUCH Cancer Hub. A GP will listen to your concerns, check your symptoms, and order tests or referrals if needed. Acting early can make a real difference and give you clarity and peace of mind. Many people find that knowing what to do if they might have cancer reduces anxiety and helps them take control of their health.

COUCH does not offer diagnostic testing on site, but we support you even before a diagnosis. If you might have cancer, our team helps you create a personalised Living Well Plan. This plan focuses on lifestyle, wellbeing, and resilience. It helps you manage stress, prepare for treatment, and develop strategies that improve outcomes and long-term survivorship.

If a doctor confirms a cancer diagnosis, COUCH walks with you through the entire journey—from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship and beyond. Our evidence-based services combine compassionate care with a holistic focus on physical and emotional well-being. We guide you every step of the way, providing practical support, therapies, and resources that complement your medical care.

At COUCH Cancer Hub NQ, we understand how worrying it feels if you think you might have cancer. We offer reassurance, advice, and personalised support to help you navigate this journey with confidence, comfort, and dignity.
