Physiotherapy

Physio to aid recovery

Our physiotherapy services play an important role in addressing and managing the side effects of treatment.

Physiotherapy for cancer care

Our physiotherapy team provides specialised care to support people living with cancer. Using an evidence-based approach, our physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat the wide range of impacts that cancer and its treatment can have on the body.

How it can play a vital role in:
    • Reducing pain and stiffness
    • Improving strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance
    • Supporting recovery after surgery
    • Helping prevent or manage treatment side effects
    • Promoting overall health and wellbeing

We work closely with you and your cancer care team to support your health through all stages – from diagnosis, during treatment, and throughout recovery or palliation. Our focus is not only on managing existing symptoms but also on encouraging long-term recovery and quality of life.

Common concerns include:
    • Cancer-related fatigue
    • Muscle pain and weakness
    • Joint pain and stiffness
    • Balance and coordination difficulties

Our physiotherapy team is here to support you every step of the way.
