Gentle relief with oncology massage
Oncology massage is a gentle, specialised therapy designed for people living with cancer. Unlike standard massage, it is delivered by a therapist with dedicated oncology training, ensuring treatments are safe and supportive during and after cancer treatment.
Research shows that oncology massage can improve common side effects of cancer and its treatment, including fatigue, nausea, constipation, anxiety, pain, and depression. Each session is tailored to your needs, with techniques focused on comfort, relaxation, and softening of the muscles to support overall wellbeing.
Your first appointment
Your therapist will take time to understand your health history, current treatments, and any symptoms or areas of concern. This ensures your massage is adapted specifically to you.
Appointments
Sessions are 60 minutes and available every Wednesday. You can book a one-off treatment or include massage as part of your ongoing wellness plan. Remedial massage is also available.
Referral not required
Private health rebates
Oncology and remedial massage are claimable through most private health funds.
