Key Events for 2017

We are very pleased to announce that COUCH has once again been chosen as the official charity partner of the IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns for 2017.

This is our 4th year in this partnership with IRONMAN and has seen our team raise approximately $200,000  for COUCH since 2014.

The 2017 Team COUCH Corporate Lunch and Charity Auction will be held on Thursday 8th June at the Pullman Cairns International. Tickets are $85.00pp. We are honoured to have Michael Milton as our keynote speaker. If you would like to know more about the inspiration that is Michael, click on his website here. On race day, Sunday 11th June, COUCH will once again have our finish line marquee. This is a great spot to grab a group of friends and cheer both the finishers of the IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 Cairns across the line. Food and Beverages will be served and is included in your ticket. Entry into the marquee is $110 inc GST and tickets can be bought here.

This year COUCH will have 70 individual entries available and 20 team entries. As team entries have sold out, we anticipate that these entries will be in great demand and as such, we will only be accepting entries from those people who are committed to raising funds for COUCH. Our individual entires will be $440.00 per person and team entries $558.00. The individual entries include an initial tax deductible donation of $50.00 to COUCH.  Entries will include the following:-

  • Entry into the 2017 Cairns 70.3 IRONMAN Triathlon either as an individual or a team
  • Priority bike racking at T1
  • Priority registration
  • Access to tickets for the COUCH finish line marquee on race day which will include hospitality
  • Team COUCH shirt

This has been an incredibly fulfilling experience for those participants who have chosen to enter as a charity entrant and we hope you can join us.

  • The registration code will only be issued once COUCH receives full payment for your registration
  • Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received into the COUCH bank account
  • Please note that to register successfully prior to the event you must hold a single day membership of Triathlon Australia
